Chris Savido is a Pittsburgh PA native, born on September 28 1981. Chris expanded his natural abilities by studying various creative disciplines both in and out of a class room. In high school Chris would draw all day and started getting commissioned to paint portraits, murals and airbrush clothing for his friends, classmates and teachers. Chris attended Syracuse University School of Visual and Performing Arts. He graduated in 2003 with a BFA in Illustration. After graduation, Chris moved to New York City where he worked as a freelance illustrator and bench jeweler. The end of 2004 brought Chris global media attention for his "controversial" painting, Bush Monkeys. Today, Chris lives in his hometown of Pittsburgh PA where he continues to create new work.

Currently, Chris is focused on creating a new body of work composed primarily of figurative compositions and still life’s with an emphasis on color, texture, and pattern.
