Chris Savido (artist/jeweler)
Chris Savido was born an artist in Pittsburgh PA on September 28 1981. Chris refined his natural abilities through formal classes and his own creative exploration. After graduating from Taylor Allderdice high school, Chris attended Syracuse University School of Visual and Performing Arts, where he earned a BFA in Illustration. After graduating deans list In 2003, Chris moved to New York City where he worked as an illustrator, web designer and bench jeweler. The end of 2004 brought Chris Savido global media attention for his "controversial" Bush Monkeys painting after it was removed from a show. Chris now lives in Pittsburgh PA he works as a freelance artist and custom jewelry maker.
